Kari was born in Tromsø in 1968 and lives and works on Skrova in Lofoten. She has held several solo exhibitions across Norway and has also participated in a group exhibition in New York. Her works have been acquired by both private collectors and public institutions, and she is also represented in Her Majesty the Queens private art collection. Working primarily in watercolor and lithography, Kari captures the contrasts and shifting moods of the northern coastal landscape and nature with a distinctive style, precise brushwork, and evocative compositions.
