Welcome to Narvikfjellet, a unique facility both summer and winter, surrounded by majestic mountains and deep fjords. At the foot of the mountain you wil find Narvik city, which turns Narvikfjellet into Norway's most urban plant. We offer a different experience, both for family, friends, top tour enthusiast, bike enthusiasts, active alpine skiers, to mention some.
Something for everyone
Narvikfjellet is a facility for everyone. The family and beginners can during the winter time benefit from a separate children's ski band and several custom pathways with jumps, children's games and park items. For the active and experienced sloper, we have several technical demanding trails that offer a good dose of adrenaline. In addition, Narvikfjellet has one of Scandinavia's largest fall heights and very good conditions for Off-piste skiing. Besides large areas of groomed trails and pathways, can you as a guest of Narvikfjellet really enjoy Off-Piste world-class skiing.
Cable Car and lifts
The lifts start in the downtown area, approx. 200 meters above sea level, and the lifts take you up to 1006 mas within 10 minutes. The spectacular views from the top of Narvikfjellet are unique, as the pathways of the resort closes in the fjord. Narvikfjellet has its own cable car path that runs parallel to the three lower T-bars. This takes you up to the upper mountain lift station at 656 mas. The chairlift will take you to the top of the ski resort and the end of the lift-based skiing at 1006 meters above sea level. From there you can walk further 300 meters to the 3rd top, the starting point of raw Off-Piste world-class skiing!
Our cable car was Northern Europe's first cable car when it was completed in 1957. Narvikfjellet is proud to offer you a brand new cable car from February 2019. This is the part of our great commitment to Narvikfjellet, which in addition to the activities offered today we will be able to offer lots of new and exiting activities both summer and winters ahead. Our goal is to be an active resort for everyone, all year.
