Two day kayak trip with wild camping

Paddle with us trought a spectacular Norweigan fjord surrounded by high mountains. In the bottom of the fjord we set up camp, cook a nice dinner over a fire and enjoy the simple life in the wild.

We start the tour from Nygård, (20 minutes drive from Narvik). After an introduction in seakayaking and packing the boats, we get out on the water and start our 10 km long journey into the fjord. If you’ve never paddled before you will learn from the guide along the way. The spectacular Rombak fjord offers beautiful nature and interesting culture history. High mountains are rising above us and under the clear surface we can see fishes and other life. We stop for lunch at a beach, maybe take a swim if the weather allows it.
Our goal for this day is Rombaksbotn, furthest in to the fjord. This is a beautiful place where we will set up our tents and spend the night. In the evening we eat a good dinner and socialize around the fire.
After a good nights sleep in the tents and a nice breakfast we hop back into the kayaks. This time we paddle on the other side of the fjord and explore new things. We’ll pass the german ship wreck Georg Thiele from the second world war. We take lunch break at another beach before paddeling the last bit back to Nygård.
