Welcome to the Sámi Reindeer Experience in Narvik, an intimate journey into the living culture of one of Europe’s Indigenous people. Here, authenticity isn’t a performance; it’s a way of life.

Meet the gentle reindeer up close and take part in feeding them, feeling the quiet connection between human and animal that has sustained Sámi communities for generations. As the silent agreement goes: Sami don’t own the reindeer; they take care of them. As the herd gathers around you, you’ll sense the rhythm of a culture shaped by nature, seasons and respect.

Warm up with traditional Sámi snacks, simple yet rich in heritage, prepared the way they have done for centuries. Then, gather around the bonfire for storytelling, where myths, history, and personal tales blend into a vivid tapestry of Arctic life. These are not scripted stories, but voices passed down through time.
