When you as a guest buy activities through Visit Narvik, you are helping to support far more than just your own experience. You contribute to the development of sustainable year-round tourism, hosting, increased value creation both in the entire Narvik region, and to ensuring safe, lasting jobs for those who live here. You help make the Narvik region a good place to live and a good place to visit – all year round.

The service fee is NOK 25 for each transaction made through our website, our agent portals or in our visitor centres. The income from the service fee helps us to safeguard and further develop sustainable tourism that takes into account the environment, the local community and the visitors.

As a destination company, we are constantly meeting increased demands and expectations, both from visitors and local players. In order to maintain and further develop our services, we are dependent on additional resources. The income from the service fee goes directly to support our work with hosting, tourist information and sustainability, so that we can continue to work on a positive development in the future.

To give visitors the best experience, we will continuously improve our hosting services. The income from the service fee gives us, among other things, the opportunity to stay open all year round and be available in more digital channels. We make sure that both guests and locals have access to important information about, among other things, safety in the mountains, weather conditions, avalanche risk and other factors that are crucial for safety and well-being, in addition to travel information, inspiration and tips and advice that you need to have the best possible travel experience in our region.

In order to make our information more accessible to international guests, it is important for us to communicate in at least Norwegian and English in our channels and tourist information. This makes it easier for visitors from all over the world to access the necessary information and thus have a safer and better experience in our region.

This can include projects that provide better insight into visitor flows, future guests' needs, or initiatives that strengthen local affiliation and engagement around tourism. We will continue to work to balance tourism development with regard to the environment, the local community and the business community.
