SJ's train between Stockholm and Narvik runs daily and is a comfortable and sustainable way to travel to Northern Norway. The train departs from Stockholm Central and arrives in Narvik the next day. Along the way, the train stops in: Arlanda Airport, Uppsala, Umeå, Boden, Kiruna, Abisko, Björkliden and Riksgränsen, among others.
The stretch between Kiruna and Narvik is considered one of the most beautiful train journeys in Europe, with views of fjords, waterfalls and dramatic mountain landscapes along the Ofotbanen Railway.
