Foldvik is one of Gratangen's clearest cultural environments, with historic piers, seine racks and the old general store. How To Travel To Gratangen

From Narvik, follow the E6 north via Bjerkvik and on towards Gratangen for 40km. A car offers the greatest flexibility, especially if you want to combine North Norwegian Boat Museum, Foldvik, Morgans Skip, Snolkehytta, Foldvik Bryggeferie and Storfossen Hostel in the same stay.

To plan your trip to Gratangen by bus, you should use Entur, as the region crosses county borders and public transport planning should be done together.

Visiting sweat

Gratangen is a vibrant local community, not just a tourist destination. Show consideration at piers, private boathouses, cultural monuments and memorials. Use marked trails where they exist, park considerately, bring waste home and respect both nature, local work and historical areas.
