Visit Narvik collaborates with municipalities, tourism actors, businesses and public partners to create growth and development in the region. We work both strategically and operationally with the development of products, markets, expertise and collaboration arenas that strengthen the region's attractiveness nationally and internationally.

Marketing and visibility

Visit Narvik works purposefully with marketing of the Narvik region in both Norwegian and international markets. The work takes place through campaigns, content production, digital channels, press work, workshops and collaboration with national and international partners.

We work actively to highlight the region's experiences, activities, events and accommodation offers through visitnarvik.com, social media and external platforms such as visitnorway.no. The website serves as the region's official tourism platform. Throughout the year, we carry out campaigns related to winter, skiing, northern lights, summer experiences, hiking and events, with a focus on prioritized target groups and markets.

Sales, tour operators and international markets

Visit Narvik works actively with sales and relationship building with tour operators, incoming agents and international partners. The goal is to increase traffic to the region and create new market opportunities for the industry.

We participate annually in workshops, meeting places and viewing trips in prioritized markets in Europe and collaborate closely with actors such as Visit Norway, NordNorsk Reiseliv and Innovation Norway.

Through our booking and distribution solutions, we also work to make products and experiences from the Narvik region more easily accessible to both individual travelers and professional buyers.

Destination development and collaboration

Visit Narvik works long-term with the development of the Narvik region as a destination. This includes work on sustainability, visitor management, skills development, product development, year-round tourism and international cooperation projects.

We work closely with municipalities, businesses and regional and national actors to develop a more sustainable and competitive destination. This includes, among other things, work with:

Hosts and tourist information

Visit Narvik operates the tourist information in Narvik, Ballangen and Kjøpsvik and works actively to ensure good guest experiences and professional hospitality in the region.

The tourist information in Narvik is open all year round and serves as an important point of contact for visitors before, during and after the trip. In addition, we work with information material, event calendar, competence measures and seasonal preparation meetings to strengthen the role of hosts throughout the region.

Visit Narvik will be a unifying player and a driving force for cooperation, development and visibility in the Narvik region. We believe that strong relationships, long-term work and common goals are crucial to succeed in the development of the region as a destination.
