Dirt&Køntri – Mountain Biking Festival in Kjeldebotn

For the seventh year in a row, Ofoten Fjellsportsklubb invites you to #DirtogKøntri – a social and action-packed mountain biking festival held alongside the annual Country Festival in Kjeldebotn, Northern Norway!

After six fantastic years, we are looking forward to another weekend filled with trail riding, great music, BBQs, good company and an authentic country atmosphere. Dirt&Køntri is a mini-festival within the main festival, bringing mountain bikers together for shared riding adventures during the day and great festival experiences in the evening.

We have our own festival campsite where we can gather around the BBQ, share stories from the trails and enjoy the social atmosphere, while also taking part in the main Country Festival. Dirt&Køntri participants receive a 50% discount on the regular price of a weekend pass to the Country Festival, provided they bring their own mountain bike.

Description

Dirt&Køntri was first held in 2021 and has since become a social gathering for mountain biking enthusiasts who want to combine great trails with live music and festival fun.

From Thursday to Sunday, we will organise group rides on several trails in the surrounding area. There will be plenty of opportunities to ride together, meet new people and explore exciting terrain. Of course, you are also welcome to head out and explore the trails on your own.

We hope to organise a workshop or other entertainment during the weekend, and there will also be photo competitions to capture the best moments of the festival.

Most of the trails offer excellent riding, although some sections may need clearing of fallen trees and debris. Any help before, during and after the festival is greatly appreciated. If you would like to arrive a day or two early to help with trail maintenance or preparations, please get in touch!
