Description

Ballangen Camping offers boat rental for those who want to experience the fjord on their own. Here you can embark on a leisurely trip, fish for the catch of the day or use the time to see the landscape and wildlife from the water.

The selection consists of several options adapted to different wishes: motorboats, rowing boats, canoes and pedal boats. You choose whether the day should be about relaxation, fishing or a simple nature experience in the fjord landscape around Ballangen.

Before renting, guests receive a safety briefing. Life jackets are mandatory when using a boat, and life jackets can be borrowed in the shop.

Additional information

Anyone who rents a 17-foot boat must be born before 1980 or have a valid boat driver's license
Life jackets are mandatory when using a boat
Fuel is purchased at Ballangen Camping and paid according to consumption at the end of the rental
It is strictly forbidden for the boater to enjoy alcohol
The boat should be cleaned after use
A deposit of NOK 3000 is charged when renting a 17-foot boat
The deposit is paid when picking up the keys and is paid back after checking the boat for damage and cleaning
Refunds of card deposits can take approximately 3 business days
Rowing boats, canoes and pedal boats do not have fuel costs

From the center of Narvik, follow the E6 south towards Ballangen. The trip takes about 40 minutes by car.
