Description

Stetind is one of Norway's most distinctive mountain peaks and a clear landmark in the northern Norwegian mountain landscape. On this guided climbing tour with Narvik Mountain Guides, you will have the opportunity to reach the top together with an IFMGA-certified mountain guide, in a landscape characterized by steep mountainsides, airy sections and wide views of the fjord and mountains.

The trip follows the normal route. The first part goes to Hall's summit, where the group is secured before the climb to the top. The climb itself is described as relatively easy, but the route offers airy back walking and requires you to be comfortable with heights.

The mountain guides use modern short rope techniques, which provide close contact between guide and participant. This provides a safer and more efficient experience, with good follow-up along the way and room for mastery in the mountains.

This is an experience for those who are in good physical shape and want to meet Stetind in a safe, responsible and close way together with certified professionals.

From Narvik city center: 80 km

If you are coming from the north by car, follow the E6 south from Narvik. After the Efjord bridges, turn off on county road 827 towards Kjøpsvik and follow the road on to Stetind rest area at the foot of the mountain.

If you are coming from the south, follow the E6 to the exit towards Drag, about 15 kilometers north of Innhavet. From there, take the ferry Drag–Kjøpsvik and follow county road 827 to Stetind rest area.
