The fjord cruise takes you out to sea from Balteskard in Grovfjord, in a landscape where fjords, islands and mountains form the framework for an unforgettable nature experience. The trip is carried out with a skipper, and the hosts share knowledge about the area where they and their families have lived for generations.

The organizer has boats in different sizes and can adapt the experience to the desired trip. The type of boat is chosen by the organizer in consultation with the guest, depending on what you want to experience at sea.

Hellevig is a classic, full-rigged sailboat from 1925. The boat has been restored and equipped with modern technology, while retaining its traditional character.

When the conditions are right, the trip can be carried out by sail. On quiet days, the trip runs on the engine, so that the experience can still be carried out in a safe and good way.

Drive south on the E6 towards Bjerkvik. Turn off on county road 825 towards Grovfjord and follow the road through Grovfjord. Continue on to Balteskard and follow the signs to Elvegård Fjordcamp, Balteskard 146. The trip is approx. 59 km and takes about 1 hour
