Låktatjåkko Mountain Station is Sweden's highest restaurant and bar – 1228 meters above sea level, nine kilometers from Björkliden. In the middle of roadless mountain terrain, you will find a unique accommodation with a restaurant, bar, sauna and spectacular views.

Description

Visitors can come for a day trip and enjoy the famous "Låktavåfflan" for lunch, or opt for a tasty two-course dinner based on local ingredients. Accommodation includes breakfast and dinner. The station has 18 beds in 10 rooms with a sink. Shower and WC are located in the corridor. Bed linen is brought or can be purchased.

Season: 21 February – 11 May

Opening hours:

• Breakfast (stay overnight): 08:00 - 09:00
• Lunch & Coffee: 11:00–16:00
• Dinner (overnight guests): 19:00

Transport in winter: Snowcat or sled behind snowmobile from Hotell Fjället (approx. 1 hour from the station). A sled can be brought with you when there. Dogs not allowed.

Important: The mountain station is cash-free. Mobile coverage is limited – thank you for bringing your bank card.
