The Lobby Bar is located in the heart of Hotel Fjället in Björkliden and is an informal meeting place throughout the day. From the lobby, the view opens up towards Torneträsk, Lapporten and the mountains, while the fireplace and seating areas provide a quiet setting for a break between activities.

Here you can sit down with freshly brewed coffee, hot chocolate and something sweet, or choose from several hot dishes and drinks from the bar. The menu can vary throughout the season, so the offer can change throughout the year.

Board games are available to guests in the lobby, and the adjacent Svarta Björn lounge provides several places to retreat with a book or something to drink. The Lobby Bar is therefore suitable both for a quiet coffee break and as a social meeting place after a day out in the mountain landscape.

Björkliden has a close connection to Narvik through the railway. The place grew up along the Malmbanan between Kiruna and Narvik, and the train journey over the mountains still connects the two destinations.

72 km from Narvik city center

By car from Narvik, follow the E10 east over Bjørnfjell, across the border to Sweden at Riksgränsen and on towards Björkliden. When you arrive in Björkliden, follow the signs to Hotel Fjället.

By train you can travel from Narvik station to Björkliden station. From the station, the road goes up to Hotel Fjället. Luggage transfers between the station and the hotel can be booked in advance through reception.
