Description

Narvik Kunstforening was established in 1948 and has been part of Narvik’s cultural life for more than 75 years. Over the years, the association has organised exhibitions at several venues in the city, including Verdensteateret and Galleri Ofoten. Today, the association is based at Brugata 4, where it operates Galleri Viktoriahavn. The gallery hosts exhibitions, courses and workshops for children, young people and adults, and presents works by local, national and international artists. Galleri Viktoriahavn is a place to explore art and creativity as part of a visit to Narvik, while also gaining an insight into the city’s active cultural scene.
