Skiing, sailing and lodge in Reinfjord

This private skiing and sailing experience takes you to the mountainous areas of Kvænangen and the Finnmark Alps, where the sailboat Mutine provides access to summit tours far beyond the most used routes. Weather, snow conditions and the group's wishes determine where the journey goes, and the boat is used to move between fjords, islands and new starting points for the ski trips.

Mutine is a Bavaria 41 equipped for sailing in polar conditions. On board there are cabins, bathrooms and a separate drying room, so that the boat serves as a comfortable base between days skiing. The sailing makes it possible to be dropped off in one place and picked up another, and opens up for crossings and routes that do not require a return the same way.

The area offers varied skiing terrain, from rounder mountains and glaciers to sharper peaks and steeper lines. Possible areas include Jøkelfjord, Loppa, Olderfjord, Arnøya and Kågen, but the final route is determined by the conditions along the way.

Food is also part of the experience. The hosts serve products from their own farm and other ingredients such as meat and smoked salmon. When the conditions are suitable, guests can also experience the Northern Lights, see animals such as seals, dolphins and reindeer, or try cod fishing when the boat is docked.
