Description

The Northern Lights do not follow a fixed formula. Cloud cover and weather can vary significantly between different areas, and a promising aurora forecast does not necessarily mean conditions are good where you are. Tonight's Aurora Briefing from Day Out Narvik gives you an up-to-date and practical plan based on the actual conditions that evening.

The briefing is held live online. Day Out Narvik reviews the weather forecast, current solar activity, road and safety conditions, and suitable places to visit. You will also gain insight into the tools and data they use when planning Northern Lights chases. The advice is based on experience from aurora hunting in the Narvik area since 2019.

The experience is designed for those who want the freedom to search for the Northern Lights using their own transport, while still benefiting from local knowledge. The plan is tailored to an aurora chase starting from Narvik, and the recommendations are adjusted according to the actual conditions that evening. The Northern Lights are a natural phenomenon and can never be guaranteed
