Description

The Northern Lights can never be guaranteed, but good preparation and flexibility can improve the chances of finding clear skies. Before departure, your guide assesses the weather forecast, cloud cover and aurora activity, and plans the evening’s route based on where conditions look most promising.

The tour may take you to different areas around Narvik or across the border into Sweden. There is no fixed route. Clouds move, and the plan may change during the evening if conditions are better elsewhere. The Northern Lights chase is operated when the guide considers there to be good chances of seeing the aurora.

Your guide has strong local knowledge and Sami roots, and shares insights about the Northern Lights along the way.

Throughout the evening, your guide takes photos that are shared with participants after the tour. With a background in photography, the guide can also help you get the most out of your own camera or mobile phone.
