How do we want Narvik to develop in the years ahead? What will it take to make our municipality an even better place to live, grow up, work and build a future? These are questions that affect all of us, and the answers should come from the people who know Narvik best – its residents.

Narvik Labour Party is currently developing its political programme for the next election period, and we want you to be part of that process. We are therefore inviting you to an open meeting where our main priority is to listen. We want an honest and constructive conversation about what works well in Narvik today, what needs to improve, and which opportunities we should pursue for the future.

Description

Narvik is a municipality with many opportunities, but also challenges that require good solutions and clear priorities. How can we create safe and supportive environments for children and young people? How can we encourage job creation, business development and attractive housing? And how can we ensure high-quality municipal services and build a community where people of all ages can thrive and feel a sense of belonging?

We want to hear about both the small everyday issues and the bigger ideas for Narvik's future. Perhaps there is something in your neighbourhood that needs improving, a municipal service that is not working as well as it should, or an idea that could make everyday life easier for many people. You may have thoughts on how to make Narvik more attractive to young people, create new jobs or develop our local communities in a sustainable way. Every contribution matters.

You do not need to be a member of the Labour Party to take part. The meeting is open to everyone who lives in Narvik and wants to contribute to the municipality's development. We want to create an inclusive discussion where different perspectives are welcomed and residents' experiences, concerns and ideas can help shape local policies for the next four years.

We would like to challenge you to consider one important question: If Narvik Municipality could prioritise only three issues for the next four years, which three would you choose?

Your answers can help influence the issues Narvik Labour Party prioritises in the years ahead. We are not coming to the meeting with all the answers already prepared. We are coming because we want to hear your views, understand what matters most to you and work together to find good solutions for Narvik's future.
