Open Day at Ballangen Fire Station

Next occasion
Welcome to an exciting and educational afternoon at Ballangen Fire Station! On Tuesday, September 15, we are opening our doors and inviting children, families and curious visitors of all ages to come and learn more about the fire service, our fire engines, equipment and the people who are ready to help when it matters most.

An open fire station is a great opportunity to get a closer look at everyday life in the fire service and discover what firefighters do both during emergencies and when they are not responding to calls. Have you ever wondered what a fire engine looks like inside, what all the equipment is used for, or what it is like to work as a firefighter? Then this is the event for you!

We especially welcome children and families. You will have the opportunity to explore the fire engines up close, take a look at firefighting equipment and meet our firefighters. For many children, this can be an exciting and memorable experience – and perhaps it will even inspire some future firefighters!
