Description

This day trip takes you from Narvik and east through the mountain landscape towards the Swedish border. The journey goes via Bjørnfjell and Riksgränsen, further past Abisko National Park and over the open landscapes of Swedish Lapland towards Kiruna and Jukkasjärvi.

The journey itself is an important part of the experience, with changing views from Norwegian fjords and mountains to the Swedish hinterland.

In Jukkasjärvi, you visit ICEHOTEL, the world's first hotel built of ice and snow. Here you can explore the hotel on your own and see ice suites and artwork created by international ice artists, as well as the Ice Church and the Icebar.

There is also time to have lunch or have a coffee, but food and drink at ICEHOTEL are not included.

On the return, there may, if time allows and the group wishes, make a short stop in Kiruna city center before the trip continues back through the mountain landscape towards Narvik.

The trip combines Arctic nature, cross-border travel and one of the Nordic region's most famous winter attractions in one day.
