Husky Lodge and Activities with Offtrack Experience (Private Experience Package)

At Offtrack Experience, you get a private stay in Arctic surroundings, with nature, dogs and hosts close by. This is not a hotel stay, but a separate base in the wilderness where the pace is shaped by the season, the weather and your wishes.

You stay in either Tømmerhuset or Hundegårdshytta. Tømmerhuset is a historic Norwegian home with more than 150 years of history, a spacious atmosphere and a combination of character and comfort. Hundegårdshytta is located by the dog yard and is suitable for those who want a more intimate experience with close contact with the huskies and the surrounding nature.

Both lodges have fully equipped kitchens, comfortable living areas, bed linen, towels and good wireless internet.
Guests are free to choose between seasonal activities, while the hosts set the final activity schedule based on the day's weather conditions. Each day includes one private experience with a meal during the activity.

In winter, you can, among other things, drive your own dog team during the day, experience a quieter dog sledding trip under the starry sky, walk with snowshoes in frozen landscapes, learn survival skills in Arctic conditions or visit the dog yard and take part in feeding. In summer and autumn, the stay can include dog sledding with a wagon along forest paths, canoeing on the Målselva river, survival experience or a visit to the dog yard.

The place is characterized by silence, changing light and clear seasons. In winter, snow-covered landscapes and dark evenings provide a good setting for Northern Lights experiences, while summer offers long bright nights under the midnight sun. Here, the experiences are kept personal and closely linked to nature, dogs and life in the north.
