Description

OffTrack Experience is a family-run dog kennel that offers private dog sledding trips with close follow-up and a focus on dog welfare. Before and during the trip, you get to meet the friendly Alaskan huskies and learn how the dogs are handled as part of the team.

The dog sledding trip goes through winter landscapes with deep forests and mountains. The experience is set up with small groups and gives plenty of time for both the dogs, nature and guidance from the hosts.

Along the way, traditional reindeer soup is served by the fire. After the trip, guests gather in the log house, where hot drinks and homemade cake are served while the hosts share stories about the dogs and life at the kennel.

The experience combines active dog sledding with a close encounter with the kennel community and the people who work with the dogs every day.
