Christmas Tree Lighting in Bjerkvik
The Christmas tree in Bjerkvik will be lit at 5 p.m. in traditional style, with singing, a festive tree circle dance, and perhaps a visit from Santa.
In connection with this, Kulturbanken Bjerkvik will be open from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.
Exhibits from this year’s Children’s Painting Workshop will be on display, Sykt Aktiv will collect Christmas gifts in collaboration with the Salvation Army, and the local history association will be selling the 2026 Bjerkvik Calendar. Mulled wine and light refreshments will also be served.
After the tree lighting, a torchlight procession will make its way up to the church, where a service will begin at 6 p.m.
