Christmas Workshop
The event is open to everyone! We’ll be making Christmas wreaths and other festive decorations while enjoying a warm pre-holiday atmosphere
The Horticultural Society will provide straw wreath forms. Members receive their first one for free; additional wreaths can be purchased for NOK 30 each.
We’ll be creating wreaths and a variety of Christmas decorations—your imagination is the only limit!
Please bring natural materials, such as lingonberry branches, evergreen twigs, pinecones, dried branches and leaves, moss, ribbons, bows, small ornaments, etc.
If you have an old wreath, feel free to bring it and give it new life—reusing materials is wonderful!
Feel free to bring: pliers, small tools, floral wire, a glue gun, an extension cord, and a table cover.
Remember to label your own tools so you can find them afterward. Gloves are recommended—bring thin gardening gloves or disposable gloves.
Please also bring a bag for waste and a large bag to carry your finished wreaths and decorations home.
We look forward to seeing you! We’ll be serving mulled juice and gingerbread cookies, and we’re aiming for a cozy and creative pre-Christmas gathering.
