Concert with Groms Plass
på Narvik KulturhusDisciplined undisciplined
Groms Plass, with good friends, cements their status as storytellers of the highest order. They find their tales with long durability in a sea of happenings—at sea, on the shoreline, along the tracks, and up in the mountains. And in nostalgic reflections—perfect songs in their apparent simplicity. These days, we need something familiar, tough, well-played, and preferably a bit wistful, but without heaviness. That perhaps says something about how easily accessible homesickness is better and stronger entertainment than one might think—while still being music that contains more than what meets the ear. Moreover, the band has a way of perfecting the tricky exercise of sounding disciplinedly undisciplined in this Narvikana landscape, spiced with a touch of folk.
