Inge Bremnes broke through around the middle of the last decade, with radio-listed and highly streamed songs such as "Ikaros", "Meire Vi" and "Himmelblå", all self-written in her own language and target.
And then the small coastal municipality of Kvæfjord in Troms was no longer just known as the home of "the world's best cake", but also as the birthplace of one of our generation's foremost Norwegian singers and songwriters - with streams in the millions. In December 2023, Inge had the title song for this year's Snøfall Christmas series, NRK's major initiative, and the song "Mot Lys" has almost reached three million streams during the Christmas season. Just look forward to musical boundlessness, mixed with a slightly self-congratulatory tone, both of which are central to the "Inge Bremnes experience", both on record and on stage.
