Family Saturday Special: Sami Hunting for Bears and Wolves
Thomas Ole Andersen, director of the Várdobáiki Museum, has heard many stories about Sami hunting traditions.
The Sami have many fascinating tales of hunting bears and wolves, told through legends, stories, and not least tall tales — and we are excited to share some of these with the children of Narvik this Saturday!
After the storytelling, Narvik Sami Association will organize a table activity for the children.
Welcome to an exciting and creative day at Narvik Library!
This event is part of the Cultural Heritage Days 2025, where the Narvik Centre Foundation, Narvik Sami Association, and Narvik Library collaborate on the project “The History of Ofoten from a Sami Perspective.”
