Lunch Concert
på Narvik LibraryAs the year progresses and the nights return, we find ourselves more than ever in the beautiful duality of light and darkness, and the contrasts it brings to the world, our surroundings, and our days.
Through this concert, we take you from day to night, spring to autumn, good to evil, and everything in between. The music paints the contrasts and transformations that life cannot exist without—and shows how music itself has changed over the past 200 years: how different fairytale figures dance in the snow, in the forest, around a campfire; how feelings and life itself can shift.
Let us take you on a journey through a whole world of light and darkness, stories, colors, and contrasts—experienced through music (and visual art!).
On the program: works by Spohr, Martinů, Grieg, Schubert, Brustad, and Chopin.
Musicians:
Kaat Schraepen – Viola
Ragna Rian – Violin
