Description
Join us for an unforgettable day trip from Narvik to the iconic ICEHOTEL in Jukkasjärvi, one of the Nordic region's most unique attractions. This is much more than a visit to a hotel – it is a journey through some of the most beautiful Arctic landscapes in Norway and Sweden. We start the day at 09:00 with departure from Adventure Hub Narvik (or the cruise port on cruise ship arrival days).
The tour heads east through the Narvik mountains and into the spectacular mountain scenery towards the Swedish border. Along the way, we pass the beautiful Bjørnfjell, Riksgränsen, and Abisko National Park before continuing across the open plains of Swedish Lapland towards Kiruna and Jukkasjärvi.
After approximately 2.5–3 hours, we arrive at the world-famous ICEHOTEL, the world's first hotel built entirely from ice and snow. Here, you will have 2.5–3 hours to explore the hotel at your own pace. Discover the impressive ice suites, artworks created by international ice artists, the beautiful ice church, and the iconic Icebar. The hotel offers a truly unique atmosphere that attracts visitors from all over the world. There will also be plenty of time to enjoy lunch or have a coffee (meals are not included).
We begin the return journey to Narvik at around 15:00. If time allows and the group wishes, we can make a short stop in central Kiruna before continuing back through the magnificent mountain landscape towards Narvik.
We return to Narvik at approximately 18:00. This is a long but highly rewarding day where you will experience spectacular nature, two countries, and one of the Arctic's most famous destinations – all in a single day.
