This year, Tor-Håkon has received several awards, including Influencer of the Year in the Vixen Awards (Knowledge category), Northerner of the Year, and the Storytel Award for narrating his own book.
Tor-Håkon is known for his warm, humorous, and comforting approach to the topic of death, where no subject is too taboo to discuss. He draws on his twenty years of experience as a funeral director to talk about death — everything from crime scenes to forensic medicine and the care/reconstruction of the deceased, as well as religious and cultural ceremonies and burial customs.
