The theme of the lecture is: Christianity – Unity and Diversity
Join us on a journey through the history of Christianity! We begin in the era of the catacombs, move into the age of cathedrals, pause at the Reformation, travel on to the revivals of the 19th century, and end in today’s diverse Christian landscape. What characterizes Laestadianism? Who were the Haugeans? What do Orthodox Christians actually believe? And which Christian denominations can be found in our small town and the surrounding area?
Much differs within Christianity’s rich and varied traditions. Yet there is also a core of shared belief that forms the foundation for all Christians worldwide — and we will explore that too.
