SpareBank 1 Mini Arctic Race - Narvik
Description
SpareBank 1 Mini Arctic Race is a non-competitive cycling event where every child can participate at their own pace. The course consists of laps of approximately 700–800 metres, with the number of laps adjusted according to age. The youngest participants complete one lap, while the oldest children can take on up to four laps. Parents or guardians are welcome to walk alongside younger children if needed.
Safety is a top priority throughout the event. All routes are closed to traffic, clearly marked, and designed to provide a safe environment for children. Wearing a bicycle helmet is mandatory for all participants.
Participation is completely free, and every child receives an event T-shirt and a medal as a souvenir of the day. The event is organised by SpareBank 1 Nord-Norge, whose employees help bring the race to life as hosts, announcers, course marshals, and medal presenters.
We hope families from across the region will join us in creating a fantastic cycling festival. We look forward to seeing young riders fill the streets with energy, excitement, and the joy of cycling!
