Tribute to Afzelius

It will be intimate and personal when Peter Wemö takes the stage. He comes bringing the music of Björn Afzelius, offering two hours of familiar and unfamiliar songs, sing-alongs, laughter, and small, surprising moments that may bring tears to your eyes.

Wemö is like a machine. Anecdotes, words of wisdom, stories, and humor flow in between the songs like an endless river. There is not a second of hesitation or dead time during the two hours he stands before us on stage. He places Afzelius’ lyrics in a historical context and explores the artist’s political engagement as well as his love life.
