ALPINE WORLD CUP
The Alpine World Cup runs from October to March and consists of a series of races in disciplines such as slalom, giant slalom, super-G, downhill, and combined. Athletes earn points throughout the season based on their results, and at the end of the season, the overall winner is awarded the prestigious large crystal globe. In addition, small crystal globes are awarded to the winners of each individual discipline.
NARVIK AS A WORLD CUP HOST
The World Cup finals represent the highlight of the season, where the best alpine skiers from all over the world meet to fight for the last and decisive points in the battle for the crystal balls. At the same time, the events will serve as important preparations for the major world championships in 2029, in terms of the organization and execution of major international championships.
