Dagfinn Lyngbø // Vinterfestuka 2026

On Saturday, March 21, Dagfinn Lyngbø takes the stage with his show “Folk” — a show about people, for people, with people.

People are high on the list of topics we talk about the most, whether it’s the boss, the neighbor, your aunt, or that guy you saw on the bus using a cloth handkerchief. Even though the world is full of wonderful people, it’s often the strange, peculiar, and annoying ones we talk about the most — simply because it’s a lot more fun. So when one of the country’s funniest stand-up comedians talks about other people, there’s plenty to laugh at and recognize yourself in. This time, Dagfinn is also bringing one of his absolute favorite people on stage: musician and best friend Bjarte Jørgensen. What fine people!

Dagfinn Lyngbø is the country’s biggest stand-up star and a name instantly associated with humor. Since the early 1990s, Lyngbø has been a central figure in Norwegian comedy and one of the pioneers in the development of stand-up as a genre in Norway. He has enjoyed huge success with shows such as “Ka e’ vitsen?” (2005), “Evolusjon” (2008), “Stereo” (2012), “Supersmud” (2017), and “Kjøreregler i forbindelse med koloniseringen av Mars” (2020). Together, these productions have sold well over half a million tickets and received no fewer than eight Komipris awards, underscoring his position as one of the country’s most popular comedians.

This will be a ridiculously great night — better start training those laugh muscles now!
