Folk Concert with Tonje Unstad
Tonje Unstad is stopping by Narvik Library to give us an intimate and entertaining concert featuring her own songs in clear Northern Norwegian dialect. She will perform newly written ballads as well as some of her more well-known songs, including “Æ ror aleina.”
Tonje, who grew up a little further out in the fjord here, will be releasing her seventh album later this year and is celebrating 20 years as a recording artist. Among numerous awards, she has received two Spellemann Awards, the Prøysen Prize, and the Trygve Hoff Memorial Award, and she is also well known for her musical performances for children.
