Litterary Lunch: Tina Harnesk
Tina Harnesk is one of Sápmi’s most prominent and relevant contemporary authors, award-winning and acclaimed by both critics and readers. Her debut novel Folk som sår i snø (People Who Sow in Snow, Norwegian edition 2025) was named Book of the Year in Sweden in 2023. Her next novel, Svik som går i arv (published in Swedish as Mödramärg), will be launched in Norwegian during Ord i Spor itself – a very special moment for audiences in Narvik.
Harnesk’s writing is known for its unique blend of burlesque humor, warmth, and deep pain – and for the way she gives voice to Sámi stories, experiences, and identities. She is deeply passionate about Sámi literature and cultural life, and alongside her authorship she works as a librarian, cat farmer, and hobby fisher – a combination that only makes her all the more fascinating.
Here, Tina Harnesk will be in conversation with Stina Åmo. Welcome to an intimate and engaging literary lunch during Vinterfestuka 2026.
Our literary lunches are free and open to everyone.
