Mean Steel on Tour - Concert in Narvik

Mean Steel performs music by daring composers and has released the albums Zwei-Mann-Orchester (2019) and It is (2023), both receiving rave reviews, radio airplay, and Spotify playlist features. While the band’s instrumentation includes a cello, two baritone saxophones, a tenor saxophone, clarinet, and two drum kits, all of it is performed by just two musicians: Hans-Urban Andersson and Ola Asdahl Rokkones.

Hans-Urban Andersson was a permanent musician with the MiN Ensemble until his retirement in 2023. His career highlights include performing a duo with Stan Getz and appearing on Svensktoppen with the dance band Curt Jürgens. Ola Asdahl Rokkones is a talented saxophonist based in Tromsø, acclaimed both as a classical soloist and a jazz musician. At Mean Steel concerts, the musicians are challenged to play multiple instruments simultaneously, creating a unique, energetic, and informal musical experience.
