Narvik is a place that inspires! With spectacular nature right outside your door and a region full of experiences, we continue to attract more visitors – all year long. And now, Narvik is more accessible than ever! Did you know that in 2025 we have 13 international direct routes to Evenes from 12 different destinations, with a total of 20 weekly arrivals?
Tourism in Narvik is growing rapidly. From 2023 to 2024, overnight stays increased by 16%, and visits from international guests soared by 47%. This proves that our long-term focus on international sales is paying off – as more and more people discover the uniqueness of our region.
But just as important as attracting tourists, is creating an attractive city and region for those of us who live here. We can all contribute to being proud ambassadors for Narvik – showcasing it as a great place to live, study, and work, just as much as we present it proudly to our visitors.
As more people discover Narvik, new offerings will grow – including new restaurants, activities, and cultural experiences that both locals and visitors will enjoy.
Our most important ambassadors
With this year’s Narvik Guide, we aim to inspire all residents to become proud ambassadors for our region and our city. Whether you're speaking to a tourist, a potential newcomer, a student, or a business partner, this is the tool that showcases everything the Narvik region has to offer.
That’s why we distribute the Narvik Guide to every household in Narvik and Gratangen municipalities – so it can be used just as actively by residents as by Visit Narvik’s staff and the local tourism industry.

New Edition
We are repeating last year’s success and tailoring the content to be relevant for both locals and visitors. The new edition will feature inspiring hiking tips, portrait interviews, recommendations for ski touring with and without a guide, historical experiences, detailed maps, top lists, and much more.
Advertising
Your message in a trusted setting like this will undoubtedly have an impact. The synergy between the magazine’s content and the advertisers’ messages ensures a strong reading experience and real effect from your ads.
We quality-check all advertising material and offer ad production included in the price. Ads can also be created as native content in the form of articles or features as an add-on service.
Full distribution
The magazine will be delivered to all households in the Narvik region by local organizations. Visitors will find the guide at various tourist information centers, airports, the train station, the harbor, hotels, shopping centers, and other strategic locations. It is also shared with all tour operators we collaborate with.
At the same time, the guide is actively used at travel fairs and workshops, both nationally and internationally, together with Visit Narvik, Cruise Narvik, Narvikfjellet, Polar Park, UiT, and other partners.
