Para Alpine Day / Open day in Narvik mountain

Are you visually impaired or have a physical disability and want to try alpine skiing? Then Para Alpine Day at Narvikfjellet is for you! NSF Alpine, Nordland Ski Association, Nordland Sports Association, Narvik High School, and Banolife invite you to a day of adapted skiing in safe and supportive surroundings. The event is free for both participants and guides and is suitable for skiers of all levels – from beginners to advanced athletes.

On Saturday, April 11, you can take part in tailored training and try skiing adapted to your level:

Schedule:

09:30 – Meet at Narvikfjellet children’s slope
09:30–10:00 – Introduction and equipment fitting
10:00–12:00 – Practice on the slope
12:00–13:00 – Lunch
13:00–15:00 – Practice on the slope

Registration deadline: Sunday, April 5. Please provide all requested information so we can accommodate your needs as best as possible.

Guide/Companion:
If you need assistance on or off the lift and slopes, you must bring your own guide with good skiing skills. Guides actively assisting on the slopes receive a free lift ticket (bring your guide card if you have one).

Equipment testing/loan:
If you do not have a sit-ski or other adaptive equipment, indicate your request for loan/testing in the registration form. Regular alpine equipment can be rented at the ski rental.

Important! Helmet required! Please bring a helmet for safety.

This will be a day full of skiing, fun, and adapted alpine experiences for everyone – no matter your skill level!
