Snowmobiling with Heggeli Adventures

Along the way, you’ll get comfortable with the basics of driving, build confidence, and experience the quiet beauty of Northern Norway’s winter wilderness.

After a safety briefing and driving instructions, you’ll set off in pairs. One driving and one riding as passenger, with the chance to switch during the tour.

The route takes you through snowy valleys surrounded by mountains. On clear days, the views are breathtaking; in snowfall, you’ll experience the raw power of Arctic weather up close.

No previous experience is needed, but a valid driver’s license for car is required to drive the snowmobile.

Practical Information

Departure times from Tromsø: 08:45 and 11:45. The bus ride takes aprox. 1 hour from Tomrsø to Heggeli

Meeting place: Tromsø Havn Prostneset, Samuel Arnesens gate 5, Tromsø

Duration: aprox. 5 hours incl. transfer.

Capacity: Minimum 2, maximum 12 participants

Requirements:

Minimum age: 12 years or 130cm (as passenger)

Minimum age to drive: 18 years with a valid driver’s license for car.

Warm winter clothing in layers

Hat and scarf for extra comfort

Camera – there will be stops for photos along the way

Not recommended for people with severe back or neck problems
