70th Anniversary Celebration
på Narvik KulturhusDescription
This year, 2026, marks 120 years of the Folkets Hus movement in Norway.
In Narvik, the house was completed in 1956 and since then the house has provided the city and region's population with high-quality cultural experiences - for young and old, old and young.
It all started with the performance "The Lord and His Servants" by Axel Kjelland, which was staged by Narvik Teaterlag. Since then, there have been a succession of performances of all kinds. Until the end of the 70s, there was a celebration every weekend in the Teatersalen and there are probably many who have fond memories of that!
When we are now going to mark our 70th anniversary with a celebration performance, the content of the performance will reflect the diversity that has characterized the house throughout these years.
The artist slipp will be released along the way, but we can already confirm that Finn Arve Sørbøe is the conference host.
Runar Sollie is the bandmaster and conductor.
Welcome to a great party performance in the Theatre Hall.
Duration: about 2 hours with intermission
