Drive Your Own Dog Team with OffTrack Experience (Winter Day Tour)
Guests can meet the friendly Alaskan huskies, learn how to handle a dog sled team, and experience everyday life at the kennel in a safe, fun, and authentic way.
The tours take place in small groups through stunning nature, with dense forests and majestic mountains. Along the way, participants enjoy traditional reindeer soup by the campfire, and after the tour, they gather in the log house for hot drinks, homemade cake, and stories about life with the dogs. All necessary winter gear is provided, and the tours are offered as self-drive experiences just two hours from Tromsø.
This is a unique opportunity to combine breathtaking nature, exciting dog sledding, and Arctic wildlife in a safe and authentic setting.
Included
• Experienced guide with safety equipment
• Your own dog-team of 5-8 dogs shared with the guide or another participant
• Winter clothes: overall, boots, mittens, beanie
• Reindeer soup (other diets available), hot drinks and snacks
