The Mom & Dad Race 2026

Welcome to the 8th edition of Morsan & Farsanløpet — a spectacular long-distance race through the wild and beautiful landscapes of Northern Norway!
The race starts from a secret location in Norddalen in Skjomen and finishes at Haugfjell Station, covering an impressive 47+ kilometers of unforgettable scenery, challenges, and adventure.

This is the perfect race for those who enjoy endurance, varied terrain, and the unique experience of running through true mountain wilderness in the north.

The course features varied terrain, including approximately 10 kilometers of rough gravel road. The rest of the route follows clearly marked hiking trails, running from the area near Statskraft Cabin through Cunojavre, Ouallavagge, Hunndalshytta, Katterat Station, and finally to Haugfjell.

The surface changes throughout the race, ranging from gravel roads and packed dirt trails to rocky terrain, natural “tartan,” and granite — creating an authentic and scenic mountain running experience from start to finish.

A bus service will be provided from Narvik stasjon to the starting area in the Skjomen mountains, making transportation easy for participants.

The registration fee includes transportation, a race t-shirt, and post-race food and refreshments, including bacalao, chocolate cake, juice, and soft drinks — a well-deserved reward after an epic day in the mountains.

We welcome everyone to an unforgettable race experience in the stunning nature of Northern Norway!
