Narvik
The Navvy Monument (Rallarmonumentet)
The monument was erectd by the municipality of Narvik in 1959 in memory of the navvies work effort in the construction of the malmbanen railway from Kiruna to Narvik.
The monument was unveiled by King Olav V on July 17, 1959. The statue is executed by sculptor Trygve Thorsen and it is
located in Gulbrandsons park.
