Northern Lights Boat Tour
On board our comfortable vessel Ofotr, we leave the city lights behind and enter a landscape where sky and mountains dominate the senses. Here you not only get the opportunity to experience the Northern Lights, but also the rare feeling of silence and darkness in a fjord landscape, with mountains rising around us beneath a star-filled sky.
The Northern Lights are the highlight of the tour, but we must be honest: this natural phenomenon cannot be guaranteed. Some evenings conditions are not optimal for aurora viewing, or even for clear star visibility against the dramatic mountain backdrop.
If this is the case, we instead offer an alternative — but no less spectacular — experience. We head out to sea and beneath the surface for our Wreck Tour (see separate description). This is a unique, exciting, and atmospheric experience, and we are confident that no one returns disappointed.
