Northern Norwegian summer experience at Angell Farm

Just 15 minutes from Narvik city center, you will find the idyllic Angell Gjestegård, a gem where Northern Norwegian culture, traditions, and authentic farm life come together. Here, a warm welcome awaits you, where you can get to know the farm’s horses and meet the animals that make the farm lively and charming.

The evening starts in our cozy lavvu, where you can sit by the fire, enjoy campfire coffee, and taste delicious local food. We offer a taste of a hearty stew made with fresh ingredients from a nearby farm. As you eat, you’ll hear fun and fascinating stories about life in Northern Norway and traditions that go back for generations.

In the lavvu, you’ll also meet our local Sami shaman, Tone. She shares old stories and traditions, and with her drum, she creates a special mood you won’t forget.

Afterwards, we’ll take you to meet the farm animals. The horses are always happy to see visitors, the dogs love attention, and the hens bring a little extra charm—maybe we’ll even find a fresh egg together!

To finish the evening, we’ll head out on a horse-drawn wagon ride under the bright Arctic summer sky. Stjerna, our beautiful horse, will take you through the peaceful landscape. It’s a cozy and magical way to end the day, so just dress for the evening weather and enjoy the ride.
