Snowmobile experience

At Solbakken, your adventure begins the moment you slip into warm clothing, sturdy boots, and your helmet. We give you a safe and inspiring introduction to snowmobiling before letting the engine roar into the silence of the winter landscape.

You’ll first get to know the snowmobile in easy terrain — time to practice, play, and feel your confidence grow. When you’re ready, we take it a step further: out into the wilderness, where white plains, mountains, and forest trails open up ahead of you.

We take a maximum of 4 guests on 2 snowmobiles, ensuring you always receive close guidance from our experienced driver. This makes the experience personal, safe, and still full of speed, excitement, and true winter magic.

Please contact us if you want to ride single, without a passanger on one snowmobile at an extra cost.

Solbakken is located just 5 km from Polar Park — the world’s northernmost wildlife park — and these tours can easily be combined with a visit among predators and Arctic animals in natural surroundings. Please contact us for transport options.

Acknowledgement of Risk

I acknowledge that snowmobiling is a motorized outdoor activity involving inherent risks, including but not limited to collisions, loss of control, uneven terrain, extreme weather conditions, and mechanical failure. I voluntarily choose to participate and fully accept these risks.

Liability and Financial Responsibility

I accept full financial responsibility for any damage caused to the snowmobile or related equipment resulting from improper use, negligence, violation of safety rules, or failure to follow the guide’s instructions.

The maximum liability per incident is NOK 15.000.

Liability Limitation of the Organizer

I understand and agree that the organizer is not liable for injuries, losses, or damages resulting from my own actions, negligence, physical condition, or failure to comply with safety instructions or rules.

Insurance Declaration

I confirm that I have valid travel and health insurance covering participation in motorized outdoor activities.

Code of Conduct

• No alcohol or drugs before or during the tour
• The guide’s instructions must be followed at all times
• No racing, overtaking, or reckless driving
• The organizer may terminate the tour without refund in case of rule violations
