The service fee is NOK 25 of the total booking amount and is added to each transaction made through our website, agent booking portals, and at our tourist information center. The revenue from this fee helps us maintain and further develop sustainable tourism that respects the environment, the local community, and the visitors.
As a destination company, we face increasing demands and expectations from both visitors and local stakeholders. To continue maintaining and improving our services, we rely on additional resources. The income from the service fee goes directly to supporting our work in hospitality, tourist information, and sustainability, enabling us to keep pushing positive development in the future.

Provide information in multiple languages!
To make our information more accessible to international guests, it’s important for us to communicate in Norwegian, English and to some extend other languages at our tourist information center and our digital channels. This makes it easier for travelers from around the world to access essential information and ensures a safer and more enjoyable experience in our region.
Launch development projects that strengthen the Narvik region as a sustainable destination.
These may include projects that provide better insights into visitor statistics, the needs of future guests, or initiatives that enhance local involvement and engagement in tourism. We will continue to work on balancing tourism development with respect for the environment, the local community, and the economy.
